Selous-Niassa Wildlife Society (SNWS) is non-governmental organization (NGO) rooted in field-based conservation. Led by Tanzania wildlife ecologists and experienced conservation practitioners, our team bring firsthand expertise in human - wildlife conflict mitigation, community engagement, anti-poaching operations, and large-scale ecological monitoring across the Selous-Niassa TFCA. We operate primary in the Tunduru and Nanyumbu Districts, working closely with local communities across the Ruvuma, Lindi and Mtwara Regions. This area represents one of Eastern African's most ecologically significant yet underserved conservation landscapes, and we are committed to safeguarding its biodiversity while supporting the people who live alongside it.
